Thousands of model train enthusiasts once again made the pilgrimage to West Springfield for the “Railroad Hobby Show” put on by the Amherst Railway Society.

Dennis Lakomy has been collecting and running model trains since his dad gave him his first model train set in 1962. They are on display in his home near Port Huron and include an operating layout.

Model trains and toy trains, including some free exhibits, are featured throughout Delaware and nearby states. See several ideas where visitors can get on track at exhibits in November and December.
